OUTLAWS SHUTOUT FALCONSThe Stillwater Outlaws scored another big win as they knocked off the Guthrie Falcons 24-0. It was a great outing for the team as a whole with all aspects of the team flexing their muscle. The Outlaw defense started off by giving up only 4 yards and forcing a 3-and-out. The Falcon punt was returned 75 yards for a touchdown by Gaylon Burris. A missed PAT made the score 6-0. The Outlaws first possession on offense moved the ball 42 yards before a fumble turned the ball over at the Outlaw 40 yard line. The defense swarmed the Falcons and pushed them back for a loss of 24 yards on the series. The Outlaw offense then moved the ball 51 yards before Broderick Hall scored on a rush from 10 yards out. Jake Jobe's successful PAT made the score 13-0. Broderick also scored again in the 2nd quarter on a 1 yard run. An encroachment penalty moved the ball to the 1 yard line and Broderick Hall scored the 2-point conversion to put the Outlaws up 21-0. The Outlaws dominated the second half both offensively and defensively. The Falcons first possession resulted in a fumble on their second play. The Outlaws recovered and while not able to reach the endzone, they did get close enough for Jobe to successfully kick a 44-yard field goal and put the Outlaws up 24-0. A series of penalties on the Falcons second possession allowed them to move down the field, but a deep pass to the endzone was picked off and the Outlaws were awarded a touchback. At the end of the day, the Outlaw defense held the Falcons to negative 28 yards. The power running game of the Outlaws racked up 275 yards. In the past two games, the defense has given up only 56 total yards and no points while the offense has racked up over 675 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns.
