OUTLAWS RANKED #1

The Stillwater Outlaws are not only number 1 in the new standings as posted on the OMFL website, but were also ranked in the top spot by Western Football News for the Oklahoma Region. The OMFL website now ranks teams using 2 of the 3 components for seeind playoff teams. It had been listing teams of the same record in alphabetical order. WFN compiles rankings from several different leagues west of the Mississippi River and posts several different ranking systems. It is the first time that the Outlaws have appeared with a ranking for the 2009 season.

3/25/2009 - Minor League Football News added the Stillwater Outlaws to their top 50 in the Nation. The new rankings show the Outlaws were ranked 53rd last week, but moved up 10 spots to claim number 43 out of the 173 teams eligible for rankings in the U.S. The Ada Blitz moved from 56th to 48th this past week after their come back win against the OKC Gunners. The Ada Blitz will meet the Outlaws in Week 7 of the OMFL season at Tulsa.
