OUTLAWS BEAT MADDOGS, SECURE FIRST PLACEOn Saturday the Stillwater Outlaws beat the Oklahoma Maddogs 16-0 to remain the only unbeaten team in the Oklahoma Metro Football League. The win also locks the Outlaws into the top spot for the playoffs. Despite several inches of rain before the game, the Outlaws were able to play in the battle to remain the only unbeaten team in the OMFL. Once again it was a well balanced game for the Outlaws on both sides of the ball. The offense was able to score on a 23-yard pass from Michael Money to Tray Stanton and rack up a total of 183 yards. The defense was able to score points thanks to a safety and a blocked punt which was recovered in the end zone. Not only was it a big victory and the team’s 5th shutout of the season, it was the fourth time the Outlaws held an opponent to negative yards. The Outlaws have one regular season game left to play.
