OUTLAWS WIN METRO BOWLIt was just like any other game of the season. Offense dominated and set the pace for the game and the defense and special teams fell in line as well. The Outlaws jumped out to a 14-0 lead with the power running game of the double-wing. Trae Stanton then started the defensive scoring as he returned an interceptions for a touchdown to widen the lead 21-0. Later in the game, Gaylon Burris returned a kickoff 71 yards for a touchdown. It was the first kickoff return for a touchdown in team history. Running back Santhony Linzsey got in on the action by scoring a touchdown on offense and defense. Jake Jobe did his part by nailing all 6 extra points and ended the first half with a field goal as time expired. At the end of the night, the Outlaws won 45-14 and brought home the championship trophy. Gaylon Burris also took home honors as 2009 League MVP. He shares the honor with Maddogs quarterback Jose Sanchez.
